Chuck arrived punctually from Amsterdam on the 22nd in the p.m. - sleek and guapo. JMC was so proud to have his ahijado with himChuck was starving and it was only 6pm - but we were happy to have tapas with him in the sister restaurant of Cerveceria Catalana which most of you know...jabugo, navajas, chipirones, pimiento padron, bacalao, etc. etc. . Satiated, he was ready to meet his Tusquets editor in chief.
Following day was full of interviews in the hotel and the formal presentation of Ilustrado in Casa Asia. Chuck in tux with slicked hairstyle a la Ilustrado Rizal.
Family had reserved front row seats. Good number of audience.
Following day happy birthday Chuck and Nana dinner at Jos' and Nana's apartment.
Needless to say my heart kept popping with pride and joy seeing how Chuck brilliantly answered questions and charmed the audience. BRAVO ILUSTRADO MIGUEL!!!!!!
