THANK YOU! Gracias! merci! Daghang Salamat! TVVM....

Dear Family,
Thank you for the  greetings and the very touching tribute you put up on this here blog ! I cried and laughed and realized what a ham I am in every single picture! As befitting the quiet and simple girl I am, we celebrated very quietly and simply ( see above pic and notice my quiet and simple pose).
I'm so grateful to have you all in my life. Thank you for remembering an old gal  on her birthday:-)
With all my love,
The Mimsterwimster

The Mimster on her 40th birthday

Dear Mims on your 40th birthday,

How better can we greet you on your big 4-0 - than to convert the blog into a one day mimi-shrine?!

A wise old, bald man named Jaime always says "a picture speaks a thousand words".

But surely with these 40 pictures, times the 35 of us who will see them and think of you today in so many different ways, we speak a million hearts and send them your way.

WE ALL wish we were there with you today to throw down some agave and dance the mimbo, but we've a whole year to celebrate this big day with you!

You''ve touched us in forty million ways Mims and we hope you feel how special you are today.

Much love,

Your 35 large NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND FAMILY

Mimi!! Hope you had a great birthday! Lots of love from Sitges. I miss you a lot! Please, let´s get together again soon! We had a wonderful time with all of you. It was reallyreally special to be able to hugh all of you and spend time together. All of you are my favourite family! big kiss

PD. So happy to have such a great remembrance of New York...specially after I got over my sinusitis, ha, ha, yes, it was a terrible sinusitis acording to the doctor. But 8 days of antibiotic did a good job!
